Pre-built or Custom-built

One of the most common questions among computer enthusiasts is pre-built vs custom built. Nearly every enthusiast would start by recommending custom built, but the majority of people don’t want to build their own computer. On average a custom build allows you to customize the computer to what you’re going to need and you often end up being able to get a better deal on performance, especially when willing to use used parts. But with these advantages many people, one of my friends included, don’t even consider a custom build because it is “inconvenient”. My personal opinion is to always choose custom built, but the only pre-built PC I have recently had experience with was from NZXT and both the price and build quality were good. In conclusion I would not suggest buying a generic PC from any random store because chances are it’s a bad deal, and could come with issues like bad build quality, but some of the online pre-built services seem to be relatively trustworthy.
